1972 Ford F350 Crew Cab — Swiss Aqua Survivor

This remarkably well-preserved 1972 Ford F350 Long Bed Crew Cab is an excellent example of Ford's iconic Bumpside generation. Finished in Swiss Aqua, this truck retains much of its original factory paint and its original black interior.

Unlike the fully restored trucks featured in our collection, this F350 is an unrestored survivor, retaining the authentic character and history that make original classic Ford crew cabs increasingly desirable.

Under the hood is a 390 FE V8 paired with a Ford C6 automatic transmission and heavy-duty Dana 60 rear axle. According to the previous owner, the engine and transmission had approximately 30,000 miles on them. During our five years of ownership, we added an estimated 3,000 miles.

The truck remains exceptionally clean for its age, with only a few localized rust spots in the lower door corners. Its largely original exterior finish and factory interior are highlights for enthusiasts who appreciate the authenticity of vintage Ford trucks.

Mechanically, this F350 proved to be a dependable and enjoyable truck throughout our ownership. With its strong-running drivetrain and solid overall condition, it is a classic crew cab we would feel comfortable driving long distances.

For enthusiasts of 1967–1972 Ford Bumpside trucks, examples retaining this much originality are increasingly difficult to find. This Swiss Aqua F350 demonstrates why these vintage Ford crew cabs remain so special.
